Chicago Rowing Union is privately funded with membership dues, generous donations, and fundraising events. Our members are committed to volunteering both with our club and out in the community. We have a strong Board of Directors who believe in our mission and have a long-term vision toward growth. Our intention is to inspire personal accomplishment, camaraderie, community, and a competitive landscape in a team atmosphere.

Inclusiveness lies at the heart of CRU. A foundational pillar of ours is to ensure that there is no barrier to entry due to financial reasons. To accomplish this goal, it is paramount that we receive financial support from people and organizations who believe in our mission. We are currently looking for sponsorship to help us provide financial assistance to rowers who cannot afford monthly dues. Your generous donation will also be used to maintain and update equipment as needed to keep us safe and competitive without having to resort to substantially increasing our member dues.
